A **massive blaze** erupted in the **Petrochemicals Zone** of Amreya, west of Alexandria, causing **extensive material damage** and destroying **96 vehicles**, though **no injuries or fatalities** were reported.


According to the **Public Prosecution**, the fire originated from a pile of **dry waste and debris**, which quickly spread to nearby areas. Initial investigations ruled out any **criminal intent** behind the incident.


The material losses included:


* **62 tuk-tuks** and **4 tricycles** destroyed in a **private vehicle yard** near the Petrochemicals Point.

* An additional **20 cars**, **5 tricycles**, and **5 motorcycles** were burned in a **government-managed storage area**.


Upon receiving the emergency call, **civil defense forces and security units** rushed to the scene and were able to **contain the fire** and prevent further spread.
